Wheel Workshops
Wheel workshops are designed for beginners and no clay experience is required. Instructor will demonstrate and guide students through the basics of a starter project.

Student will be provided enough clay to create 2 pieces.
(We cannot guarantee that each attendee will complete two projects.) -
Length of Workshop: approx. 1 hour

Beginner Wheel Class
If you have tried a Wheel Workshop and are interested in learning more about Wheel Throwing, the next step is to try a class. Instructor will cover more in depth pottery wheel techniques.

Student will be provided enough clay to create 2 pieces.

More projects can be tried and if you would like to keep any there will be a $5 fee per piece.

Pottery Wheel Rental
After completion of our Beginner Wheel Class, students may be eligible for Wheel Rental.
Sign up to use our wheels anytime there is not a scheduled workshop.
Students will have access to our clay tools and will be responsible for wheel clean up.

$35 for 25 lbs of clay includes bisque firing

Glaze firing will range depending on size of piece ($7-$15)

AGE RANGE
Generally, skill comes with time and practice no matter the age.

TIME COMMITMENT
It all depends on your design and inspiration. But many pieces take about an 1.5-2 hours to create, while your more detailed ones can take 3-4+ hours.
Plan on another 1.5-2 hours for glazing during open studio hours.

FINISHED PIECE
Drying and Fired to Bisque
Your masterpiece will be fired to bisque and a ready to glaze with in 10-14 days.
Glaze Fired
Your piece will be ready for pick-up within 5 to 7 business days, unless we tell you otherwise at time of creation.
